What we'll expect from you for your chore

"Weena" and the Taxi driver chore schedule

CHORES
In order to hold costs down and make camp run as smoothly as possible, it is necessary for most attendees to put in few hours of help around the camp during the course of the weekend. The chores are usually very simple (helping Pony Camp, keeping an eye on the "littles", serving the meals, driving a taxi, etc). Besides, they are a great way to meet new people. You may opt out of these chores for a minimal fee. EUnless otherwise directed, please report to HQ at the beginning of each chore shift to sign in.

Dungeon Monitor (DMs)
Love being a voyeur and hanging out in the play space? Then DM is the chore for you. Help keep our dungeons and other Camp attendees safe and have a fun time doing it. Please have some experience as a DM. Having taken BR's DM course highly recommended!

HQ Floater
Love being helpful? This is the Jack-Of-All-Trades chore. You'll never know what we'll ask you to do: help set up for a pool party, decant the wine for formal dinner, run errands for Camp Staff, or help Ops deliver water to the dungeons. The possibilities are endless.

Kidz Kamp Helper
Love hanging out with the Littles. Or need to keep an eye on your special Little. Then helping out in Kidz Kamp with the chore for you. Activities include reading stories, helping with crafts, playing games and other fun kid-size stuff. No diaper changes required.

Kitchen Meal Preparation Chore

Love watchingour Top Chefs Paul or Gary and want to want to get your hands on Chef Paul's secret meatball recipe? Then working in the Camp Crucible Kitchen under two professional chefs is the job for you. You'll follow all directions of the kitchen chef in cutting and chopping ingredients for salads, cutting and chopping vegetables, follow direction in mixing, straining, turning, and other cooking tasks as directed. Clean bowls and other kitchen equipment as directed. Help set out meal for service. Some kitchen experience prefered but not necessary, 1 person for lunch on Monday & Friday, 2 people for lunch all other days; 3 people for dinner.

Meal Serving and Clean Up Chore

Do you love dishing it out! Giving people what they deserve. Then serving the wonderful Camp Crucible food is the chore for you. Follow all directions of the kitchen chef, serve main and side dishes as directed, clean all tables and chairs in the dining, mop dining room floor. 2 people for lunch and 3 people for dinner

Midnight Snack Chore

Are you a night owl who wants first dibs on midnight snack? This is the chore for you! Part kitchen helper (food prep) and part clean up, you'll get to do a little of everything.

Pony Camp Chores
Love hanging out around exotic and unique animals? Does the smell of oil, leather and pony sweat make you tingle? Then come up to Pony Camp and fulfill your camp chores! Previous pony experience a benefit, but NOT required. We need assistance moving chairs, setting up for classes, keeping the tack organized. Some of the chores may include simply running messages, demonstrating techniques, answering questions about pony play and massaging Bree (really?). Please report directly to Pony Camp (Bree and Jeff) at the start of your shift. (Do NOT expect to do nothing but massage Bree)

PONY SHOW CHORES
The Camp Crucible Pony Show is the largest pony show in the country. Come help Bree and Jeff make it better than ever. Your chores can be fulfilled AND you get to be part of the fun. We need help getting all the pony music (and breakfast) to Uncle Frazier, assisting Bree with wrangling all the ponies, trainers, carts, and props, directing the audience, getting drinks and calories to hungry ponies, setting up the arena for performances that require special arrangements, and assisting the judges with ribbons.

Spa
Like to pamper people and help them feel relaxed, pretty, or special? Then make the Spa your chore of choice! An additional perk? Again this year, the Spa will be AIR CONDITIONED!
We are looking for people to provide the following soothing, relaxing, and non-sexual services for their fellow Campers:

Manicures -- file, shape, polish and decorate fingernails. Hand massages and paraffin wax treatments also available.
Pedicures -- setup foot baths, scrub and pumice feet, trim and file and polish toenails, massage feet and calves.
Facials -- soothing facial scrubs and masks, gentle massage and moisturize.
Massage -- knead away the stress that may have followed Campers from the external world. Massage away the tension that resulted from throwing that whip or flogger. Turn people to putty as they relax under your hands. Hot rocks optional.
Henna body art -- Feeling artistic and want to leave your mark on someone in a new way? We provide supplies needed to create temporary tattoos on the human canvas. This is always a popular service that people enjoy throughout Camp and beyond.

Taxi
Love meeting new people and traveling the open road? How about driving in circles just like Nascar? (but SLOWER! And right turns are involved) Then Taxi is the chore for you. We are looking for safe, responsible drivers to man our golf cart taxis every day. When starting and ending your shift please check in with HQ.
